98.4% of students who sat for the 2021 PSLE under the new scoring system can progress to secondary school. Nearly 40,000 students were assessed using the Achievement Level Scoring Bands (AL). Special consideration was given to those who missed papers due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The performance of students under the AL Scoring Bands this year is comparable to that of last year, when the T-score system was in use.

College Provides Students with Food for Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanks to partnerships with local farmers and a grant from the Marvin and Rosalie Okun Foundation, Kalamazoo Valley Community College students will once again have the opportunity to pick up food to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner Monday, Nov. 22 at the college’s Food Innovation Center or Tuesday Nov. 23 at the Texas Township Campus through the school’s Valley Food Share program.
