Kim Blackwell was a 51-year-old active, independent, healthy, and Christian woman who was doing what she loved running an art business and working with a travel company. On October 8th 2008, she suffered a massive stroke but made a miraculous recovery thanks to her faith and trust in God. Along the way, she has also developed her own recovery plan, which she intends to share with others who want to bring their life back on track. “From Stroke to Recovery: My Walk with God: A Guide to Recovery”.
An Ontario mother said she had to take her baby to three different hospitals, and speak with six doctors in less than a week, to get an accurate diagnosis after he was injured in a fall. Her son was twice diagnosed with a sprained arm, but he’d had a stroke and was suffering from partial paralysis.
