Silicon Valley Hair Institute, the Bay Area Hair Transplant Leaders, Announces New Post on Micropigmentation Options for 2020

There are several treatments for dealing with hair loss. Some can be much simpler than others.

SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) February 02, 2020
Silicon Valley Hair Institute, a team of highly-trained hair loss doctors in the San Francisco Bay Area, is proud to announce a new informative post about micropigmentation. Some hair loss solutions may not involve significant surgical cuts to the scalp. As the new post explains, the insertion of pigment into the upper layer of the skin can create the illusion of more hair. The process, combined with other surgical hair procedures, may result in a better outcome. San Francisco residents can learn more at the new blog post.
“There are several treatments for dealing with hair loss. Some can be much simpler than others. If a male patient is concerned about an ugly scar on the scalp, or a few missing patches, micropigmentation could be the answer,” explained Miguel Canales, founder of Silicon Valley Hair Institute and a leading San Francisco Bay Area hair loss specialist. “Our post discusses how easy the process is and how it can improve the overall appearance of the scalp.”
San Francisco residents can review the new informative post about micro-pigmentation from Silicon Valley Hair Institute at https://siliconvalleyhairinstitute.com/if-you-need-a-hair-transplant-you-might-consider-micropigmentation-here-in-the-bay-area/. Bay Area residents can review the updated hair transplant page to learn about more hair restoration options at https://siliconvalleyhairinstitute.com/hair-transplant/. Persons seeking the best opportunities for hair loss treatment could reach out to Dr. Canales for a no obligation consultation.
HAIR LOSS EXPERT ‘FILLS IN THE BLANKS’ ABOUT MICROPIGMENTATION IN SAN FRANCISCO
Here is the background to this release. Typical answers to hair loss can involve lengthy, detailed surgical procedures. Men in the Bay Area could search for less invasive solutions to a smaller hair loss problem. San Francisco residents may be ready to find a simple, straightforward procedure for creating better-looking hair.
A hair restoration treatment called micropigmentation, or trichopigmentation could be the right choice. For these reasons, Silicon Valley Hair Institute announces a new post about the procedure. The need to remove the tell-tale signs of past hair transplant surgery may be relevant to Bay Area men. Micropigmentation could fill in spaces, hide scarring and leave the impression of fuller, thicker hair. The procedure includes imprinting a short-cropped pattern of ‘male stubble’ on the affected area. Outcomes can include a scar-free, natural looking hairline.

Silicon Valley Hair Institute Announces New Post about the Phraseology of FUE Hair Transplants in the Bay Area

There are several types of remedies to tackle hair loss problems. Some mean different processes, while others mean the same type of treatment.

PALO ALTO, Calif. (PRWEB) February 01, 2020
Silicon Valley Hair Institute, hair transplant professionals serving the San Francisco Bay Area community http://siliconvalleyhairinstitute.com/, is proud to announce a new post identifying the terms for FUE hair restoration. The new post helps clear up the vocabulary of ‘ARTAS’ and the acronyms of FUE vs. FUT surgery. Locals searching for hair loss treatments in San Francisco may need help verbalizing the exact term to find support. Robotic hair restoration surgery, called by several different terms, may indicate the same type of treatment.
“There are several types of remedies to tackle hair loss problems. Some mean different processes, while others mean the same type of treatment,” explained Miguel Canales, of Silicon Valley Hair Institute. “The new post is designed to clear up any confusion over our terms. FUE surgery and ARTAS hair surgery are explained in the post.”
Bay Area residents interested in reading the new post from Silicon Valley Hair Institute can go to the page at https://siliconvalleyhairinstitute.com/follicular-unit-extraction-bit-mouthful-say-artas-instead/. Follicular Unit Extraction is a general term used in the hair restoration field. Cutting-edge robotics can fit in the same category as FUT/FUE hair transplant surgery. ARTAS, a brand name, might be used in conjunction with hair transplant surgery. Men and women searching for hair loss solutions can review the newly update ARTAS page at https://siliconvalleyhairinstitute.com/artas/ . Hair restoration processes can include the following: micropigmentation, eye brown eyebrow transplants, and other more specific hair transplantation procedures.
BAY AREA RESIDENTS LEARN THE LANGUAGE OF INNOVATIVE FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT SURGERY
Here is the background for this release. Medical answers to restoring thinning hair have been prevalent for several decades. One common practice is the surgical process of removing hair from the back of the scalp and placing it to the front of the scalp. In recent years the public has heard of robotic hair transplantation surgery or ARTAS for short. The public might want to understand ARTAS vs. FUT vs. FUE when it comes to hair transplant. Advances in hair loss solutions include the addition of innovative robotic hair transplantation. For these reasons, Silicon Valley Hair Institute has announced a new post about the current terminology regarding hair transplantation, and urges interested parties to reach out for a no obligation consultation with a hair loss specialist.

Knee Replacement: Don't Get It Too Late or Too Early, Study Finds for Silicon Valley Orthopaedics

We agree with Dr. Pagnano’s comments on this study. While patients make the ultimate decision on whether to proceed with total knee replacement, the surgeon should advise patients on their rehab potential and overall health, says Dr. Gay

FREMONT, Calif. (PRWEB) January 17, 2020
In a recent article in USA TODAY, the results of this study, published in The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, were detailed. The research suggests that for far too many patients, having a knee replacement procedure is done either too late or too soon. The team at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago found that 90% of patients who could benefit from the procedure waited too long to have it. Alternatively, about 25% of patients who don’t need the surgery are having it prematurely when the benefit is minimal, and they run the risk of complications. Patients with osteoarthritis in the knee should time the surgery to ensure maximum benefits if they are eligible for knee replacement.
In the article, Dr. Mark Pagnano, who is unaffiliated with the study and a professor and chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic, told USA TODAY that despite advancements in the procedure, some people that should have knee replacement surgery hold on to antiquated notions of its risks and outcomes and put off having it done. However, he also emphasized that there may be serious issues in getting the surgery too early. “There’s a sense among some people that a knee replacement will magically cure any problem that’s related to the knee. Particularly for younger, active patients, they will continue to push for a permanent fix to a problem when perhaps a surgical option is still not in their best interest,” Dr. Pagnan explained.
“We agree with Dr. Pagnano’s comments on this study. While patients make the ultimate decision on whether to proceed with total knee replacement, the surgeon should advise patients on their rehab potential and overall health,” says Dr. Gay.
“At our practice, we spend a great deal of time counseling patients so they can make the most informed decision possible,” explains Dr. Reynolds
At Silicon Valley Orthopaedics, Dr. Nic Gay and Dr. Kerisimasi Reynolds fully understand the implications of having joint replacement surgery and typically only recommend joint replacement when conservative or joint preservation treatments are not viable options for eliminating pain and restoring function. They use indicators such as pain level, joint function, age and x-ray assessment to determine if or when knee replacement is necessary. Dr. Gay and Dr. Reynolds have intimate knowledge of knee anatomy and associated illnesses, providing patients with access to the highest standard of care.
