Terrorist supply route or humanitarian lifeline? Israel is targeting tunnels under Gaza | DW News

Israel says one objective in its Gaza airstrikes has been to destroy an underground tunnel network used by Hamas militants. The tunnels are used to smuggle goods, including weapons, which are prevented by an Israeli blockade from reaching Gaza over land and sea. It’s not the first time that Israel has sought to cripple the underground infrastructure.

Mission Alpha : en route vers la station spatiale

Le lancement de la mission Alpha à bord de Space X a eu lieu à Cap Canaveral à 11h49 et deux secondes ! L’Européen Thomas Pesquet est à bord de cette capsule Crew Dragon avec trois autres astronautes, l’Américain Shane Kimbrough qui commande, l’Américaine Megan MacArthur chargée du pilotage et le japonais Akihiko Hoshide. Tous les quatre vont passer six mois dans la station spatiale internationale après 24 heures de voyage. La station spatiale se trouve à 400 km d’altitude. Dans trois mois, Thomas Pesquet prendra le commandement de la station. Il sera le premier Français à ce poste.
