1 NYPD officer shot by suspect in Bronx released, 2nd remains in hospital

One of two NYPD officers shot and wounded by a suspect in the Bronx Wednesday night was released from the hospital just before noon Thanksgiving Day.

There was a sense of gratitude that everyone involved in the wild shooting survived — but also a sense that something has to change.

Fellow officers lined up to greet NYPD Officer Alejandra Jacobs, who suffered two gunshot wounds to her arm.

Channel tragedy: Audio released of boat mayday

Sky News has obtained audio of the mayday call issued by the French coastguard after Wednesday’s tragedy in the Channel.

At least 27 people died on Wednesday when the boat they were in sank.

Video released of suspect who sexually assaulted Fort Worth woman at gunpoint

Police released video surveillance video of a man they say robbed and sexually assaulted a woman in her apartment in southwest Fort Worth. Police say the suspect forced his way through a woman’s apartment door to steal and then again to assault her.

Cohen released from house arrest
