A new immersive installation delving into the life and work of famed street photographer and fashion historian Bill Cunningham opens to the public in New York. Cunningham not only documented, but was part of the cultural landscape for more than six decades. He photographed the glitterati including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Anna Wintour, and Andy Warhol, and shot fashion shows and social events. (Sept. 15)

Photographer caught in WTC collapse makes plea: Help me find firefighter who saved me

News photographer David Handschuh is desperately searching for a firefighter who helped save his life during the September 11 attacks.

So far, Handschuh has been able to find every other person who assisted him on that fateful day in 2001, all but one.

"Nineteen years, 11 months 364 days later. I don’t know who that firefighter is. I’d love to hug him. I’d love to say thank you. I hope he’s safe. I hope he’s alive," Handschuh said.

Wildfire photographer discusses his experience covering California wildfires

Firefighters in California are making progress in preventing the Caldor Fire from reaching South Lake Tahoe. Fire officials say lighter winds have helped them keep the fire at bay. As of Saturday morning, the Caldor Fire was 37% contained. Wildfire and climate photographer Stuart Palley spoke with CBSN’s Lana Zak about what it’s like covering California’s wildfires.
