Ottawa investigating cyber incident against Global Affairs systems

A number of federal departments and agencies say they are working together to respond to a recent cyberattack on systems at Global Affairs Canada. The government has not released any information detailing who may have been responsible for the attack.

Driver arrested after incident involving security officer outside Red Swastika School

Police have arrested a 61-year-old man who was seen driving his Bentley against a security officer at a primary school. The now-viral video shows the officer trying to block the car from entering Red Swastika School. CNA understands the driver of the white vehicle had overtaken several other vehicles and used a lane meant for exiting to drop a child off. Education Minister Chan Chun Sing called the incident dangerous and unacceptable, adding that the ministry is looking into the case.
