Abaco in the Bahamas is in urgent need of help after a hurricane ravaged the islands two years ago.

It is one of those nations in urgent need of help after damage caused by extreme weather.

Episcopal Relief & Development Supports Episcopal and Interfaith Partners in Local Responses to Hurricane Ida

It has been six weeks since Hurricane Ida’s remnants ripped through parts of the region. Some homes were leveled after heavy winds, others were hit with heavy flooding. FEMA has been helping those impacted who are still living in hotels or staying with friends and family. NBC10’s Denna Durante reports.
