Blue Apple Electric Honored by Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada

Blue Apple Electric, a Las Vegas-based provider of residential and commercial electrical service, will receive an award on February 5th at the Everyday Extraordinary Breakfast hosted by Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada for their support of the nonprofit organization.
Blue Apple Electric supports Candlelighters through its Blue Apple Cares program. The Blue Apple Cares Program donates $1 for every service call – up to $5,000 a month – to the nonprofit organizations. Customers are encouraged to match Blue Apple Electric’s $1 donation.
In addition, Blue Apple Electric was a prominent supporter of the Candlelighters Superhero 5K race held in September of 2019, spreading awareness of the race through public relations efforts and among its social media followers.

Chartered in 1978, the vision of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada is “to alleviate the isolation many families feel at the time their child is diagnosed” by providing “emotional support, quality of life programs, and financial assistance for children and their families affected by childhood cancer.” Candlelighters serves approximately 125 families every month and up to 600 children (both siblings and diagnosed children) every year.
