Debby King, ‘Soul Of Carnegie Hall,’ Dies at 71

Debby King, who worked as the artist liaison at Carnegie Hall for 34 years, has died at age 71. Her responsibilities included calming the nerves of some of the most prominent musicians in the world, including Frank Sinatra and James Taylor. Yo-yo Ma once called her the “soul of Carnegie Hall.” Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
