Top Lake Mary, Florida Financial Advisor Is Key-Note Speaker at Innovasis 2020 Spine Surgery Symposium

Some ideas seem small and not overly fruitful in tax savings but believe it or not when one starts doing many of these tax saving activities combined it equates to a significant tax savings. Our clients save an average of over $20,000 per year once they get their Saving Tax Optimization Analysis.

LAKE MARY, Fla. (PRWEB) January 23, 2020
Chuck Oliver, President and CEO of The Hidden Wealth Solution will speak at the 9th Annual Spine Surgery Symposium at The Montage Resort in Deer Valley, Utah. Innovasis, an integrated research, development, manufacturing and distributor of spinal implant company, will host this annual event from February 20 – 23, 2020. Attendees include the top spine surgeons in the United States along with industry distributors. In past symposiums, conference attendees discussed the latest techniques and challenges in spine surgery, patient safety and quality of care, innovative technologies, spinal deformities, and healthcare economics. As the keynote speaker at this prestigious symposium Oliver will present key changes in retirement tax laws for 2020 and how symposium attendees can better prepare financially for their retirement years with learning the top techniques in saving taxes for high income earners.
Oliver stated “I am honored to have been asked to speak at this prestigious event. I look forward to sharing my financial insights with such a fine group of talented professionals. As people work through their career their investments often times lose importance until it’s too late to make corrections that can provide significant results. People contribute to their IRA, 401K or even their pension and don’t take the time to look closely at the taxes they are paying and will be facing in the future, then take it one step further, they don’t look to how they can legally reduce their taxes so they save more in the long run for retirement. With the change in tax laws and the uncertainty of the 2020 presidential election now is the time people should look closely at their retirement planning and investment changes to allow for any upcoming market correction protection. The time has never been more important in learning how to protect money than in 2020”.
Oliver and his team of financial advisors at The Hidden Wealth Solution help Baby Boomers and Retirees thrive in retirement. They teach wealth creation and preservation solutions to ensure security and safety. Throughout 2019 the team at The Hidden Wealth Solution have written several articles that discuss how to save on taxes, the best claiming Social Security benefits strategies, protection from the newly passed The SECURE Act and several others. In the article written about how to save on taxes, Oliver addresses the top ways to save including why strategic tax planning has never been more important, contributing to an IRA is not the best way to retirement plan, importance of HSA’s, alternatives to 529 college planning, contributing to a health savings account (HSA) and if you are self-employed optimizing all the strategic tax savings advantages like the 14 day rental rule and even setting up a home office where you can deduct home office expenses that can save money on your taxes.
Oliver added “some ideas seem small and not overly fruitful in tax savings but believe it or not when one starts doing many of these tax saving activities combined it equates to a significant tax savings. Our clients save an average of over $20,000 per year once they get their Saving Tax Optimization Analysis. By incorporating these tax saving solutions one can experience a substantial savings.”

AltMed Florida to Open Three Dispensaries in 24 Hours – with Grand Openings of MÜV™ Dispensaries in Lutz Jan. 24 plus Tallahassee and Sebastian Jan. 25

We are proud that Florida patients are choosing our dispensaries thanks to our modern open-concept retail experience, professional service and our unmatched product quality.

SARASOTA, Fla. (PRWEB) January 22, 2020
AltMed Florida, the fastest growing Medical Marijuana Treatment Center (MMTC) in Florida (source: OMMU), is the first ever to open three dispensaries in 24 hours.
Three new MÜV™ Medical Cannabis Dispensaries will have grand openings in Lutz, Tallahassee and Sebastian:
    Lutz (Tampa Bay) – 10 a.m. Friday Jan. 24. Address: 21126 State Rd. 54, Suite 104, Lutz
Tallahassee – 9:30 a.m. Saturday Jan. 25. Address: 2711 Blair Stone Rd., Tallahassee
    Sebastian (Vero Beach) – 9:30 a.m. Saturday Jan. 25. Address: 1701 US 1, Sebastian
With 16 dispensaries, AltMed Florida has accelerated its reach and is on pace to open 40 dispensaries statewide. More than 60,000 patients have visited MÜV Dispensaries. MÜV Dispensaries have the second highest market share in the state ahead of multiple companies with twice as many locations.
“We are proud that Florida patients are choosing our dispensaries thanks to our modern open-concept retail experience, professional service and our unmatched product quality,” said AltMed Director of Corporate Affairs Todd Beckwith. “As a Florida owned company, we take our obligation to serve patients across the state very seriously, as exemplified by becoming the first to open three dispensaries in 24 hours. From the Panhandle to Tampa Bay to the central east coast this weekend, and with new dispensaries in the works in every corner of Florida, our team is working tirelessly to give patients local access to our MÜV products throughout the state.”
This Friday, AltMed Florida will open its fourth Tampa Bay area MÜV in Lutz, serving patients in nearby Wesley Chapel and Land O’Lakes, and this Saturday, its first central east coast dispensary opens in Sebastian and the first Panhandle location opens in Tallahassee.
The new Tallahassee dispensary, a former bank building, includes a drive-thru (MÜV-thru) window for added convenience for customers, and is located just off Apalachee Parkway near Governors Square Mall, only a few minutes from the Florida State Capitol.
The new Sebastian MÜV Dispensary, located north of Vero Beach and just east of Interstate 95, allows AltMed to provide further access up and down the east coast – joining dispensaries in Jax Beach, south to Wellington/West Palm and Deerfield… with more locations in development.
During the three grand openings, all licensed Florida medical cannabis patients will receive 25 percent off their entire first purchase and the first 100 patients will receive a MÜV SWAG bag with their purchase. Patients can also order online at muvfl.com for express pickup or delivery.
MÜV Dispensaries offer an extensive selection of award-winning products including flower, pre-rolls, a wide range of vaporizer pens, metered dose inhalers, topicals, oral sprays, patent-pending encapsulation formulations in its Tinctures, 72-Hour Transdermal patches and transdermal gels. MÜV is also recognized for having one of the widest selections of concentrates for patients’ needing macro-dosing options.
“Our dispensaries set the standard for quality products, service and overall patient experience at our current locations and we’re excited to offer our premium MÜV medical cannabis brand to even more patients as we expand our presence across Florida,” said AltMed Florida CEO John Tipton. “Our MÜV dispensaries are unlike any in the state and we’re excited to invite licensed patients who live in or near Lutz, Tallahassee and Sebastian to visit our newest state-of-the-art locations.”
Like AltMed Florida’s 13 existing locations (Apollo Beach, Clearwater, Deerfield Beach, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Jacksonville/San Marco, Jacksonville Beach, Lakeland, Longwood/Orlando, Downtown Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa and Wellington/West Palm), the new MÜV Dispensaries stand out from others because they are designed as a premium experience: think Apple Store, with a modern, open-concept design and expert staff with extensive training.
The MÜV brand already has a wide following in other legal medical cannabis markets, including Arizona, where it has won five Best of Arizona medical cannabis awards. MÜV products are sold exclusively in Florida at MÜV dispensaries because, unlike other states, Florida does not allow wholesale of product between license holders – only products that license holders make themselves can be sold in their dispensaries.

AltMed Florida is on pace to open 40 MÜV Medical Cannabis Dispensaries across the state, all supplied by its 200,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art cultivation facility. Florida Polytechnic University sees exceptional rise in applications

Lakeland’s Florida Poly is experiencing a significant increase in the number of student applications, bucking national postsecondary enrollment trends.

‘Students and families recognize that to stay career relevant as creative innovators, a degree from a selective STEM university is really the best choice.’ – Terry Parker

LAKELAND, Fla. (PRWEB) January 22, 2020
Florida Polytechnic University is experiencing a significant increase in the number of students applying to become Phoenixes. At only two-thirds of the way through the 2020 recruitment cycle, the University has received 31 percent more freshman applications compared to this time last year. This includes a 44 percent increase in applicants from out of state.
The new numbers are a stark contrast to the current trends in postsecondary enrollment throughout the nation. Higher education enrollment for fall 2019 declined for the eighth consecutive year by 231,000 students across all types of institutions, according to the latest research from the non-profit organization National Student Clearinghouse Research Center. Public four-year colleges saw the largest decrease at 97,426 students.
The academic quality of the applicants to Florida Poly improved as well:
Average SAT of admitted freshmen is up 30 points to 1334.
Average ACT is up from 29 to 30.5.
Average GPA of admitted freshmen increased from 4.2 to 4.35.
“This is great news, especially in light of the national data,” said Dr. Ben Matthew Corpus, associate vice provost for enrollment management. “As students learn about Florida Poly, they see a place where they can connect and engage in a state-of-the-art public university. We’re a small, selective, and an intensely relevant institution where students aren’t just a number.”
Dr. Corpus said the surge in applications is a result of new team outreach efforts put in place to create greater awareness of the University not only in Florida, but throughout the country. These include:
new digital and teacher-centered strategies to connect with high schools more efficiently
the hiring of a full-time regional recruiter in the Northeast
a re-imagined campus visit program that connects cutting-edge tech, social and economic relevance that’s engaging
new academic programs and targeted scholarships on sectors of STEM excellence
“We won’t know if these additional applicants will all enroll until the fall, but it is definitely a very positive sign that the team’s hard work is paying off,” Corpus said. Transfer applications are also up 13 percent, as well as their quality. Average transfer GPAs are up from a 3.0 to a 3.4.
Another factor improving Florida Poly’s attractiveness to prospective students is its recently attained ABET accreditation, as well as the addition of new programs of study such as Environmental Engineering, Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics and new concentrations in aerospace, digital design, and mathematics of medicine and biology. The University also is building the Applied Research Center, an 85,000-square-foot cutting-edge facility focused on research and innovation and scheduled to open in 2021.
“Florida Poly’s programs put students directly on the path to making an impact on the economy and society, where students know they’ll be highly competitive and employable well into the future,” according to Dr. Terry Parker, executive vice president and provost..
“Students and families recognize that to stay career relevant as creative innovators, a degree from a selective STEM university is really the best choice.”
