Press Release – updated: Feb 14, 2020 11:00 EST

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., February 14, 2020 (Newswire.com) – ATP Flight School and Endeavor Air have established a partnership and mutual commitment to the development of professional pilots through designating ATP an Endeavor Air Student To Endeavor Pilot (STEP) Program Academy Partner.
ATP provides students with the most efficient path to a successful airline pilot career through quality airline-oriented flight training, from zero experience through an airline pilot job. Graduates complete the Airline Career Pilot Program in nine months and are guaranteed a flight instructor job to gain the flight experience required to fly as an airline pilot.
Students and instructors that sign up for the STEP Program are able to receive one-on-one guidance from Endeavor recruiters and attend professional development presentations. Selected pilots are eligible for the opportunity to complete a First Officer interview 12 months before obtaining ATP minimums.
“Our goal with the STEP Program is to help pilots prepare for a successful career in the airline industry,” said Ginny Zarras, Director, Talent Acquisition and Development, Endeavor Air. “We are excited to launch STEP at ATP and partner with them to engage, encourage, and educate the next generation of pilots.”
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Endeavor Air offers pilots a defined career path to Delta. Through the Delta Guaranteed Interview (DGI) program, Endeavor pilots are eligible to receive a preferential scoring credit during the Delta panel interview and are not required to complete job knowledge testing.
“We are proud to partner with Endeavor on the STEP Program, which expands the opportunity and options ATP graduates have to accelerate their airline pilot career,” said Michael Arnold, Director of Marketing, ATP Flight School. “We are strongly committed to the career success of our students and are excited to share with them the professional development and support offered through Endeavor’s STEP Program.”

ATP Flight School and SkyWest Airlines Invest in the Next Generation of Airline Pilots With Increased Tuition Reimbursement

Press Release – updated: Feb 11, 2020 13:56 EST

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., February 11, 2020 (Newswire.com) – ATP Flight School is pleased to announce an enhanced partnership with SkyWest Airlines. In an update to their current partnership with ATP, SkyWest Airlines has increased tuition reimbursement to $17,500 for pilots training with ATP Flight School, reaffirming their shared commitment to developing the industry’s best pilots.
ATP provides students with quality airline-oriented flight training; taking students with zero experience and paving a way to a successful commercial airline career with the SkyWest Airlines Pilot Pathway Program. After graduates complete the Airline Career Pilot Program in nine months, they are guaranteed a flight instructor job in order to gain the required flight hours needed to fly commercially.
As an ATP flight instructor, pilots are then eligible to apply for the SkyWest Airlines Pilot Pathway Program and, once accepted, begin incrementally receiving the $17,500 in tuition reimbursement. Flight instructors in the SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program also receive career mentorship, enhanced company seniority and a guaranteed first officer interview, and more. This innovative approach to airline pilot recruitment takes an early investment in a pilot’s career. It actively promotes the profession and makes it more attainable by helping ease the financial barrier aspiring pilots can face.
“For over 35 years, ATP has consistently delivered the most efficient path to successful airline pilot careers,” said Michael Arnold, Director of Marketing, ATP. “We are proud to work with SkyWest on continuing to invest in the career success of our students, offering greater opportunity, and supporting the nation’s next generation of airline pilots.”
“We’re pleased to enhance our ATP partnership and advance our commitment to proficient aviators,” said Tracy Gallo, SkyWest Airlines Vice President Flight Operations. “We appreciate our ATP partnership and look forward to bringing more exceptional pilots to fly SkyWest’s growing fleet.”
