DPM Heng on whether GE2020 affected his decision to step aside

"The results of the GE2020 performance, in particular in East Coast GRC is not the reason why I decided to step aside," said Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat on Thursday (Apr 8 ). He was asked if the outcome of GE2020 had any bearing on his decision to step aside as the PAP’s 4G team leader – a role which had designated him as next Prime Minister of Singapore.
