Inspectah Deck: After “C.R.E.A.M” Dropped I Knew Wu-Tang Made It (Flashback)

In this flashback, Inspectah Deck opened up about how Wu-Tang came together after RZA and GZA had record deals, which didn’t pan out the way they wanted. From there, RZA put together the other group members, including Raekwon, Method Man, and U-God being from the same neighborhood. Inspectah Deck admitted that he would battle people, which is how RZA propositioned him to be in the group, but he wasn’t serious about rapping at the time. From there, Inspectah Deck spoke about Wu-Tang repping Staten Island, and he also revealed the moment that he realized the group was going to be big, which is when "C.R.E.A.M." dropped. Inspectah Deck on Losing 1st Album After RZA’s House Flooded (Flashback)

In this flashback, Inspectah Deck spoke about Wu-Tang members coming out with solo albums after the success of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), and he addressed what happened with his solo albums. He explained that he was "caught in the shuffle" of Loud Records going defunct, and Inspectah Deck admitted that his lack of knowledge in the music industry made things difficult. Inspectah Deck also revealed that a flood at RZA’s house led to his first album being destroyed and him having to start over again.
