Singapore’s Manpower Minister Tan See Leng has said the country must press on to help local companies transform their businesses and upgrade workers’ skills. This is despite latest data showing employment and income growth returning to pre-pandemic levels. Dr Tan said they are not out of the woods yet, especially with uncertainty over the new Omicron variant lingering over the country’s economic recovery.
