BlockFrame Inc., BlockChain Development Community and New Cyber Frontier Announce a Public Blockchain to Increase Individual Privacy

‘Privacy for the People,’ a grassroots effort for demanding individuals’ privacy, is releasing a public blockchain for securing state records and enabling an open marketplace
Press Release – updated: Nov 7, 2019 13:24 MST

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., November 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) – The BlockChain Development Community (BCDC) (www.bc-dc.org) and partners from New Cyber Frontier (https://www.logiccentralonline.com/new-cyber-frontier) and BlockFrame Inc. (http://www.blockframetech.com/) announce a new crowdfunding campaign that went live on Oct. 22, 2019, on www.indiegogo.com to support the future development and expansion of new blockchain platforms to increase individual privacy.
Colorado Senate Bill SB18-086 was signed into law in May 2018, with broad bipartisan support, to apply blockchain technologies for better security for state records. Since then, more than 220 volunteers and 30+ software developers have been building a blockchain distributed ledger to meet Colorado requirements, to resolve many limiting design issues with current public blockchains and to support a secure and indefinitely scalable global information marketplace. The platform developed from that effort is now ready for initial public release.
BCDC members have volunteered thousands of hours of development time, often with their own facilities, computers and money, to produce an open platform without direct government or large corporate sponsorship. To maintain the momentum for a secure service for individual digital privacy rights – which today is often at risk from cyber-attacks from billions of dollars invested by criminals, hackers, large international corporations, and nation-states – BCDC is seeking $500,000 from crowd-sourced funding to support the completion of its next development phase: Funding from people, and responsible to people, to support the digital privacy rights of the people.
Over the next 60 days, our partner New Cyber Frontier, the internet cyber-security show with the largest listenership in the world, will support the BCDC crowd-sourced funding campaign.

PICO UNION PROJECT CELEBRATES 6th ANNUAL “FAITHSGIVING” COMMUNITY FEST

LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) November 07, 2019
On Tuesday, November 26th, please join the Pico Union Project at 1153 Valencia St. in historic downtown Los Angeles, from 3:30-5:30 PM, as we celebrate the 6th annual ‘Faithsgiving’ and distribute over 500 turkeys to our well-deserving community. “With six years of Faithsgivings under our belt, we’re confident that this year’s will be bigger and better than ever. We can’t wait for you to see what we have in store,” said Louise Brent, Art Specialist at the PUP.
The Pico Union project has always taken the phrase “love thy neighbor” and put it into action. For the 6th consecutive year, we will be opening our doors and hearts to the community in an afternoon event that will include live music, free food, games, and art projects. We’ll be hosting special guests, including mariachi group Las Colibrí, LA-based music group PLVNK, the Keshet Chaim Dance Company, KYCC, Good Samaritan Hospital, elected officials including Assemblymember Miguel Santiago, Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo, Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, and more. We expect over 50 volunteers, as well as appearances from local law enforcement and firemen.
The turkeys have been donated by a variety of sources, supplying us with enough food to provide to the residents who may not otherwise be able to afford them. We’re guaranteeing the giveaway of 500 turkeys, but our aim is close to 800 this year. Along with other produce that will be handed out, the event on November 26th will assure many families in our neighborhood of having a great Thanksgiving by helping them celebrate one of America’s biggest holidays with an abundance of food.
We hope you and your friends and family can join us for this extraordinary ‘Faithsgiving’ occasion. For more information, to volunteer, or to donate to this unique event, please visit http://www.picounionproject.org/faithsgiving or contact Claire Bernson of the Pico Union Project at (213) 915-0084 or events@picounionproject.org.

The multi-week Veterans Day campaign will further spread the value of service to veterans and communities with over 60 veteran-led events across the country focused on building stronger communities and connecting veterans.

NEW YORK (PRWEB) November 07, 2019
Throughout the month of November over 500 veteran volunteers will lead service efforts across the country in celebration of Veterans Day. The veterans are volunteers with The Mission Continues, a nonprofit organization that empowers veterans to continue their service and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact.
The multi-week Veterans Day campaign will further spread the value of service to veterans and communities with over 60 veteran-led events across the country focused on building stronger communities and connecting veterans. The community-based projects are in partnership with schools, public parks, youth organizations, homeless shelters, refugee centers and more. Throughout the month, veterans, community leaders, and corporate partners will team up to build, restore, and connect with each other and the communities in which they serve.
“Veterans Day provides us an opportunity to not only celebrate the selflessness of those in our country who have worn a military uniform, but to honor their continued service in communities across the country.” said Mary Beth Bruggeman, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and president of The Mission Continues. “We’re creating a movement of veterans who are leading the way in building stronger communities and creating long term, positive impact.”
Hundreds of community organizations, corporate partners, and non-veteran volunteers will join forces with the veteran-led service groups for the campaign. The service projects will take place in the 56 cities where The Mission Continues operates, including San Francisco, Richmond, Oahu, San Antonio and Boston. In Richmond, veterans will team up with CarMax employees and community members at the Peter Paul Development Center. Throughout the day, volunteers will paint classrooms, conduct community garden clean-up and repairs, and help beautify the center through landscaping, planting, and painting.
This month of service is made possible with support from campaign sponsors BAE Systems and CarMax. Veterans Day is just one example of the many opportunities to serve with The Mission Continues.
