Biden Tells Reporter ‘Stupid Son of a B—’ Comment Wasn’t Personal

President Joe Biden has officially “cleared the air” with Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy after he appeared to be caught on hot mic Monday calling the journalist a “stupid son of a b****.” An hour after muttering the comment underneath his breath, Biden reportedly called Doocy on his cellphone to address his words. “He said, ‘It’s nothing personal pal,’ and I told him I appreciate him reaching out,” Doocy told Fox commentator Sean Hannity on his show Monday.

Biden Calls Fox Reporter a `Stupid Son of a B—-‘

President Joe Biden can be heard calling a Fox News reporter a "stupid son of a b—-." Peter Doocy tried to question Biden about inflation as journalists were ushered out of White House’s East Room where the president was hosting a meeting with economic advisers. Doocy, appearing later on Sean Hannity’s Fox program, said Biden had called to apologize.

Jan. 6 Insurrection Was ‘Plan B’ For Overthrowing 2020 Election

Constitutional Scholar Laurence Tribe joins MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell to react to Attorney General Merrick Garland’s investigation into the January 6th insurrection. Tribe says the DOJ is focusing too much on January 6th and not enough on the larger plot to overturn the election by coercing state officials to manipulate the results. “The scary thing,” Tribe says, “is there is simply no indication that the department of justice is investigating that broader plot. I hope to heaven that it is, but there’s no indication of it.”
