Workplace Safety and Health Council to launch campaign to reduce risk of slips, trips, falls in June

Security officers and workers in sectors including transport and F&B may need to go for compulsory workplace safety training in future. This is already slated to kick off for cleaners starting 2022. These groups are identified as being most at risk when it comes to slips, trips and falls, which are some of the most common types of workplace injuries. The Workplace Safety and Health Council will launch a campaign to reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls in June. Another campaign in March 2022 will focus on machinery incidents, which is also among the top causes of major injuries.
