Subway Co-Founder Peter Buck Dies At 90

Subway has more locations than any other restaurant on the planet, and it all started with one small sandwich shop in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Peter Buck was a nuclear physicist with a PhD from Columbia University who decided to invest $1,000 in his friend’s business in 1965, eventually turning it into a global sandwich empire. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
