Singapore to send 500,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses to Australia

Singapore is sending 500,000 doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to Australia as part of a "dose-sharing" agreement. The Foreign Affairs Ministry said that this will help Australia combat the sudden surge in infections caused by the Delta variant. Australia will return the same number of vaccines at a later date. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said both countries enjoy a warm and long-standing friendship and this is another example of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
