Singapore has painted a clearer picture of how it intends to live with COVID-19. Steps forward include a half-time review in August to see if current pandemic curbs can be eased further, but only for those who have received both vaccine doses. Taskforce ministers also told Parliament that, as early as September, borders will reopen and larger gatherings will be allowed as more get their jabs. Medical protocols for COVID-19 will also become more like those for the common flu, and case numbers will not matter as much.
