Singapore scientists tap on plants and ecosystems to prevent, fight diseases

Scientists are hoping to tap on plants and natural ecosystems to prevent and fight diseases. The project was launched at the new SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Biodiversity Medicine. The institute will use advanced technologies to extract plant components to treat common diseases like diabetes, look into managing diseases with food and study how biodiversity can promote wellness.
