The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs is excited to announce its 4th annual film event, It’s A Wonderful Life at The Weinberg Center for the Arts on Saturday, December 7, 2019 with two showings at 3:00 and 7:00pm. Tickets to both show times are free, however they must be reserved in advance to ensure seating. Prior to each show, guests will enjoy the festive sounds of the season performed by Frederick’s own a cappella group, the Catoctones.
Held annually, the event is a wonderful kick-off to the holiday season and coincides with Downtown Frederick’s First Saturday. The movie—a holiday classic—reflects a town similar to Frederick: tightknit, generous, and community-oriented. By screening this classic film every year, The Religious Coalition is able to share its mission of community benevolence and togetherness, as well as educate the public about year-round services provided by The Coalition.

The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs seeks to alleviate and prevent the effects of poverty in Frederick. We provide those most at-risk in our community with emergency shelter for homeless adults and families, healthcare assistance to the uninsured and under-insured, utility assistance, homeless prevention services, and other emergency programs for serve those experiencing poverty.
