Most S’poreans optimistic about nation’s ability to tackle sustainability issues: Expo 2020 survey

Nine in 10 Singaporeans believe international collaboration is key to solving global challenges. A survey of 22,000 people in 24 countries has reported a similar result. The study by Expo 2020 Dubai also revealed that the majority of Singaporeans are optimistic about the nation’s ability to tackle sustainability issues. Ms Dina Storey, director for sustainability operations at Expo 2020, and Ms Yap Lay Bee, deputy commissioner-general of the Singapore Pavilion, shared their thoughts on the survey results, as well as the Republic’s green plans and sustainability movement.
