BOSTON, October 18, 2019 (Newswire.com) – HqO, a tenant experience (TeX) software and services company for commercial real estate, celebrated the launch of its new Boston office as well as the accelerating adoption of its solution by commercial real estate landlords—now topping 60 million square feet globally. An official ribbon cutting was held, and the celebration brought together HqO customers, community leaders, and Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh.
“Our city is a hub of innovation, and I’m proud to welcome HqO to downtown Boston,” said Boston Martin J. Walsh. “The work HqO does in Boston impacts buildings across the world. As companies like HqO put down roots in Boston, our business community will continue to grow, and bring more jobs, opportunities and collaboration to Boston.”
HqO opened its office having established itself as the breakout leader in tenant experience, reaching 60 million square feet in less than two years. HqO has partnered with leading landlords including American Real Estate Partners (AREP), Blackstone’s EQ Office, DivcoWest, Jamestown Properties, The Swig Company, and more.
The new office location on the 12th floor of 38 Chauncy Street in Boston accommodates the company’s headcount growth, reaching 60 employees in 2019. Synergy Investments, which owns 38 Chauncy Street as well as 4 surrounding buildings in Downtown Crossing, purchased and launched HqO software across the entire portfolio this month.
“We saw HqO technology as a chance to build deeper community within our properties. We learned about HqO’s tenant experience solution and immediately saw the value in connecting our branded portfolio of buildings with one mobile application and tenant engagement programming from HqO. We are excited HqO chose to headquarter at our building and look forward to their continued growth,” said Dave Greaney, President, Synergy Investments.
HqO co-founder and CEO, Chase Garbarino addressed the audience: “Thanks to your support, your hard work, and your investments, HqO is connecting people to new experiences, a new level of community engagement, and a renewed sense of purpose in the places where they work.”
