Envoys from US, Japan and South Korea meet after Pyongyang’s latest missile test

The US, Japan and South Korea have agreed to continue their efforts towards the denuclearisation of North Korea through dialogue and sanctions. The three-way talks come after Pyongyang tested new long-range cruise missiles over the weekend. The countries agreed dialogue and diplomacy are needed to accomplish the complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. South Korea and the US have also discussed ways to engage Pyongyang, including the possibility of a joint humanitarian project in the North.
