DBS digital banking services ‘returning to normal’ after two days of disruptions

Digital services of Singapore’s largest lender have slowly returned to normal after two days of outage. DBS said it is monitoring the situation closely, but glitches continue to bug some users. The bank has urged people to restart their devices and try logging in again. DBS has identified the disruption as a problem with its access control servers, which are part of a bank’s security system that is used to verify and authorise logins and payments. One cybersecurity analyst said such issues can occur during software updates.
