BRYAN, Ohio, December 5, 2019 (Newswire.com) – Allied Moulded Products, Inc., an industry leader in manufacturing nonmetallic electrical boxes and enclosures, is expanding its Control Series line of fiberglass enclosures to include additional latching options.
The new latches – including a 3-point handle and quarter turn latch – come standard in all Control Series size options, including the 24” x 20” x 8” up through the 30” x 24” x 10” size. The new options feature locking provisions and offer the same features when compared to our existing Control Series product offering.
Control Series products are compression molded from our ULTRAGUARD® thermoset sheet molded compound (SMC) material and have been available for many years as an excellent alternative to stainless steel enclosure products in a multitude of extreme
Our Control Series enclosures come standard with 316 stainless steel mounting foot brackets and external cover latching hardware, along with a formed-in-place (FIP) polyurethane gasket system, which maintains a NEMA Type 4X/IP66 cover seal to protect components in a variety of application environments. Each unit comes standard with internal brass inserts for mounting back panels and are set up to accept field-installable hinged front panels for applications requiring access to control pushbuttons and monitors inside the enclosure.
